DUET
A duet is a musical composition for two performers in which the performers have equal importance to the piece. I’m borrowing the term for the visual arts, but in this case, I am both performers. One, representational, offering the theme to the other to improvise over or to abstract. This exhibition will comprise pairs of paintings. Two very different responses to each subject. I hope they sing harmoniously.
